The Polishing Process
A custom designed floor determined by aggregates.
During the polishing process, the surface undergoes a minimum of four grinding steps using progressively finer grinding tools, known as diamond polishing pads. These consist of progressive grits of industrial diamonds bonded within a metal, hybrid, or resin material.
The concrete floor polishing process includes three different chemicals. Firstly, a grouting agent which is used in conjunction with mechanical grinding to fill out pores and imperfections in the surface. This is followed by a densifier to strengthen the concrete making it more abrasion- and scratch resistant. This treatment also serves to make the surface more responsive to the diamond tooling and therefore easier to polish. Finally, a penetrating sealer is used to help protect the polished floor from stains and penetration of fluids.
This process takes longer than other concrete coatings, but the result is a high-quality finish very popular for high-end commercial spaces like car showrooms, bank lobbies, hotels, law firms, and special rooms in residential properties.
Benefits of Polished Concrete

Custom Designed Floor
The end result is a custom designed floor as the patterns are determined by the number of aggregates or stones exposed in the concrete which serve to highlight the natural beauty of the stone.
Durable and Easy To Maintain
Polished Concrete Floors are extremely durable, easy to maintain and provide a unique, stylish look to floors for residential, or commercial environments.
Maximum Protection
Maximum protection is attained due to a seamless finish of the surface. Polished Concrete provides the best value for money over the life cycle of the floor.
